Pine scented air filled the outside area of the beautiful school of RIPA. The summer trees were starting to change colors and some even already look ready for winter. The pine, of course, were still their vibrant greens.
The dark cloud above the school's grounds was so familiar... A piece of it followed the train (or boat, depending on the decided location of the school) so the vampiric students would be safe as well... It was such a shame that they haven't figured out a way to block the harmful rays of the sun, but still let the sun be seen... Such a shame...
RIPA. A very well known (at least through the monsters of society) school for 'monsters'. Things ranging from ghosts to zombies, and everything inbetween and around go to this school. And currently, a single 18 year old blonde haired blue eyed vampire was strolling from the train station's crowd to the front doors.
As most vampires, he wore all black, with a couple simple gold rings on his right hand. Of course, he wore it for a completely different reason, a reason suggested by the paintstained bag he carried over his shoulder. He was an artist, favoring pencils and charcoal over paints, so, when he drew, it got all over his clothes, so he opted for the black to hide it.
Zephyr Torling, a born vampire of 18 (He had a few more years of growth until he stopped, born vampires from his area grow to be the average of their parent's age, then they're like every other vampire), a seventh year at this preparatory academy, and a fine artist. He knew quite well where the seventh year dorms were, and thats right where he was headed before the opening feast. Z was a loner, much like those traditional stories of vampires, and unlike the rest of the kids in the school. Besides, he wanted the choice of the best view from the room.

Shoving. Arguing. Growling.
The Usual ritual took place like it was an everyday thing, which it was. A small group of three had stepped off the train after the blonde vampire, each older than thier human age inquired. Two Nineteen year olds[Recentely turn mined you] and one Eighteen year old. A young man and two fine young ladies. Of course, like most of the students at RIPA, they were different than the average human.
The taller of the two, the male of course, fiddled with the silver ring resting on his right middle finger, his crimson red eyes sparkling with Amusment as he had managed to strike a never out of the youngest of the three. "Calm down, Micheal. I was just joking. Heh. All the first years. It'll be amusing to see thier faces and finding out thier...specialities", The boy chuckled as he smoothed out his black dress shirt before slidding his hands into his equal black slacks. He looked quite fine in the formal attire he wore often. Always the one who liked to look good, even when things got rowdy. Half angel and Half Shadow Demon, and ending up with a mission to become a Demonic Guardian of a future world wanted 'monster', he took enjoyment in tormenting the younger girl. Kero Karakami looked out of the corner of his eyes, spotting the other nineteen year old, her right hand pulled at a loose thread on her left arm sleeve while looking at her nails boredly, and then at the shorter girl the one glaring daggers at him, her finger twitching slightly as if she wanted to grab his throat and strangle him.
"Oh, Kero, Stop being mean to Micheal. I don't want to listen to you argue like first years. It's quite annoying." The nineteen year old young woman said to the two rolling her eyes as if they were childern. She sighed as she gave up on attempting to remove the pure white loose thread from her loose long sleeve V-neck shirt, placing her elegant right hand in her back pocket. Her lovely lavender violet eyes looked out into the crowd boredly awaiting entry into the castle. Kauri Chaos Yanaru sighed as she brushed her long ebony black bangs back behind her slightly curved ear. The Elven Angel of Chaos was quite bored. Nothing more than other students scurrying around trying to find out where they were going and old friends. Sighing she looked up at the sky where a large cloud had covered the sun to protect the Vampires of the School.
"Don't need to stick up for me, Chaos. I can prefectly manage myself without the either of you defending for me." A sharp snap sounded from the younger girl. Having already shedded her jacket that was not being held by two fingers and slung over her shoulder, Michelle Micheal Lane sent her golden eyes up at the other two. Being the one who was going to end up becoming one of the worlds most wanted 'monsters', Micheal was usually alert and looked around her often, like she was doing now after her glance at the two. Vampire, Water Demon, Slayer. All in one. Crazy right? Not really. Micheal looked around her, feeling the slight comforts of returning to the academy relaxed her a bit. Here, she was safe. She was safe here more than anywhere else. All Summer she had been running around, avoiding bombarding attacks of demons and other hunters who wanted her for her bounty. She tugged slightly on the white tank top's collar as they entered, having decided earlier to just wander around the corridors where most people didn't.
As the three departed from the loud boustorous group of other people, They roamed the halls smirking at the echos of the returning students entering the castle.

The vampiric boy was headin' on a dangerous path, nearly running into the trio of odddities, Chaos, Micheal and Kero. He stopped short, looking up and moving out of the way.
"Sorry," He muttered, "My mind's still on the beach." A rather odd saying for a vampire eh? But really, he did go to the beach... at night... quite often. Actually, every night.
You see, his family was rather... wealthy, as one could guess if they spotted the rings he wore oh so often. They owned a mansion on the coast as their summer home. Z didn't like the money though. Most of the things he had was from his own pocket. Cliche`, huh? But oh well, he lived his life the way he wanted to...

"Ayah? It's okay.....Beach? From the scent of it you seem more like a vampire...one of the wealthy ones..." Kero grinned as he leaned foreward towards the boy with a dark grin plastered on his pale face.
"Kero, Don't bother the Vampire..It's not nice." Chaos said as she glanced Z over before small glints of something on his fingers caught her eye. Rings.
"Hrm....You are one of the wealthy ones, actually. Heh. Well, best to start things off right. I'm Chaos, and the idiot there sneering like a madman is Kero..While this silent one is Micheal. We're seventh years here. What about you?" Chaos said as she patted Micheal on the head with a small grin.
"Don't touch me." Micheal snapped at Chaos with a harsh growl before looking at Z. Yup, he was a vampire all right. She glanced at the three for a moment before brushing pass them, muttering an excuse me to Z as she passed, walking away.
"...Kero we need to get her to do something active..and normal...besides shooting demons and reading silently.." Chaos said as she moved over a bit, watching the shorter girl leave as Kero looked up.
"Eh..Your probably right. But anyway, so, what's your name?" Kero asked Z with a grin.

"Z," He said, "And yes, the beach. My family is rich... And I'm a seventh year too." He thought for a moment, did he miss any questions? Not that he knew of.
Either way, he watched Micheal go. "Micheal hm?" he muttered, "Perhaps... what she does is normal to her. And that's all that really matters after a while..."

Chaos and Kero glanced at one another then at Micheal. "Z eh? Is that really your name, or does it just stand for something else?" Kero asked looking at Z with a grin.
"Mhmm...Micheal Knows it's not normal. She just has a hard time creating bonds with people...so she practicially broke them off with everyone she knew beside me and Kero. Anywhos, Pleasure to meet you Z. Seventh Year eh? Never seen you around before." Chaos said with a smile.

"I tend to stay to myself," Z answered, deciding to ignore Kero's question for now. Kero didn't seem all that important anyway.
"I usually stick to my room," He continued, nodding to Chaos, "Its the only way I can get any work done..."
Work? His paintings of course! He couldn't care less about school stuff, he was more into his art, which he was already making quite a bit of money off of.

"Really? Hrm. Interesting. Well, care to head to the opening feast with us?" Chaos said looking over at Z. She gave a small shrug and then looked at Kero who was leaning agianst a wall, pulling at a loose thread on his cuffs. "Blah. The ruddy thing won't come off." Kero muttered as he bit off the thread, looking up at the two.
As Micheal had disappeared from them, she pulled out that usual dark gray leather bound book she carried with her. Opening it to a page, marked by a black ribbion, she tucked away the ribbion and began to read, enjoying the soft silence.

Another upperclassman was returning to school. As she walked along the grounds the first years and others who had not seen her before craned their necks to gawk. The young woman did not seem to notice and continued unerringly on her brisk walk to the dorm buildings.
It was not that she was horribly unobservent, oh no she felt their eyes on her, it was simply she was so used to the stares and pointing she blocked it out. For Imaru was indeed a rare sight, even for a school of strange and fantastic creatures. Her species had no specific name. At first glance one may label her a centaur - for from head to hips she appeared a human girl but her lower half was not a horse but that of a deer and she had a long tail, similar to a lion's. Her entire body was tinted a mossy green, as was her long hair (a darker shade).
Besides her strange form, Imaru also liked to wear strange clothing about her top, and also wore bright makeup and a heavy amount of jewelry. All this compiled into quite a scene for those who had never seen her before.
Along with all this she carried a few large bags with her belongings in them and a large pack (much like what they use for llamas) across her back witch held the rest.
Soon Imaru entered the hallway to the seventh year dorms, a wide smile on her face. She was incredibly glad to be back. Up ahead a small group seemed to be involved in light conversation. As she approached she nodded at them and gave them a small, "Hi," not wanting to interrupt too much.

Turning to the side just slightly, Kero looked at Imaru with a grin. "Howdy there." He chuckled lightly.
"Kero no harrasing. Hello, You an Upperclassmen?" The Chaos Angel turned around as she fiddled with her hair, giving a kind smile to Imaru.
"Harrasing? Why ever so would I do that?" Kero inquired with a raised brow.
"Because, your too much like your father." Chaos answered simply as she sent him a side glance.
Kero growled slightly until Chaos coughed and looked over towards Imaru. "I'm Kero Karakami, Seventh Year. And that would be Chaos Yanaru, Seventh Year." He introduced with a jerk of his head towards Chaos.
